  1. Hi Martin,

Hope all is well with you, especially with all this coronavirus stuff going on.

Yes, your new microphone sounds better, for sure. We have a Yeti Blackout for doing online classes and we love it. Still learning how to use it, really.

Congratulations on syndication of your podcast, that is way cool. Unfortunately, I use CastBox, so I still have a bit of a wait.

In response to what you said about masks, the problem is not with people wearing masks, the problem is with people hoarding so many of them that hospitals and health workers can’t lay hands on enough to help patients. That is a really big problem right now. Having trouble with a number of items being hoarded over here, it is just disgusting. I haven’t really researched it, but I’m guessing that other countries do not have this much of a problem with this.

I have never heard of someone making biscuits like your Grandma Ruby. They almost sound like Popovers or individual Yorkshire Puddings. Yu,m.

In your conversation with Vivienne Manning-Schaffel, you said, “…for the two people on the planet who know who RuPaul is…”. I’ve actually noticed he seems to be having a moment right now. I’ve noticed him in a few shows recently that were not, “RuPaul’s Drag Race”. Which is pretty cool.

Another excellent episode, do take care of yourself and stay well.

    Take care,
    Vinny

    1. Hey Vinny! I know the masks are complicated. And no – no one should be rushing them like the great Toilet Paper meltdown… However, I noticed people already had them – like mine I spent some good cash on which does, indeed protect – and we were being shamed for wearing them. Even a cloth – on a crowded subway?

My “beef” with it all is the CRIMINAL misinformation and “protect our pocketbooks” campaigns by the US & UK governments. “SELL THAT STOCK!” – tantamount to Crimes Against Humanity imho.

What I imagine they didn’t want – when they thought they could “PR” their way out of this – was not to have people in masks being shown on the news, etc. and confirming: “Houston, we have a problem”.

Great to hear from you as always!

PS. RuPaul…that was a bit of cattiness for a bunch of us old schoolers who worked in the NYC club scene 😉
